SS316 Trefoil Cable Cleat
A marine stainless-steel cleat for three single-core power cables in trefoil formation, specified where offshore corrosion, short-circuit restraint and long service life matter more than lowest unit cost.

Typical applications
- Offshore wind turbine tower power cable routes
- Transition-piece and monopile cable management
- Exposed marine cable runs where C5-M or equivalent corrosion protection is required
- Projects requiring documented material traceability and installation drawings
Selection notes
The SS316 trefoil cable cleat is the right starting point when the cable route is exposed to salt spray, condensation, tidal humidity or maintenance access limitations. Stainless steel gives the cleat body a predictable corrosion profile, while A4 fasteners and cable-protective liners help prevent local damage at the contact surface.
Selection should not be made from cable diameter alone. For wind projects, the cleat spacing, available mounting structure, fault-current level and cable route geometry all affect whether a stainless trefoil cleat is sufficient or whether a custom bracket, liner or stand-off arrangement is needed.
RFQ checklist
- Cable outside diameter
- Fault current and duration
- Required cleat spacing or support pitch
- Installation zone and corrosion class
- Drawing, certificate and coating requirements
Send the project data and we will review the selection by zone, material and documentation requirement.
